Excellent article Jacob!

I moved here a few months ago to get a chance to see and experience all the things that I always imagined Utah has to offer. It’s projects like this that make me question whether a lot of people here (mostly politicians) take for granted the beauty that surrounds them. Willow Spring looks amazing…Care to let me in on where this beautiful spot is?

This is my first time on your blog, and I appreciate your perspective on why skilink is such a horrible idea. However, I’d encourage you to do a little bit of research on Jim Matheson’s record and positions concerning the environment. He is NOT a friend of the earth, and actively uses his power to thwart environmental causes.

The whole skilink deal is so politically corrupt it is hard to even know where to start. For a preview of how Talisker uses their land, take a stroll through their faux Canyons village – empty condos, empty retail stores, over-priced everything, private property signs, muzak filling the air and more idle employees than customers. We don’t need any more of this.

Jake,
Wow this post freaked me out even though I knew you were the one writing it. I can only imagine how panicked you and (probably especially) Ali must have been. I’m glad to hear all is well and that the heart attack was not caused by a blockage. Living a healthy lifestyle is truly a blessing to your loved ones as well as yourself.

I was appalled, but not surprised, to read about the food served to cardiac patients. Shame on the hospital for guaranteeing themselves more business from the patients they are currently “treating”. I noticed after giving birth at OSU that the food was awful for you and that the staff and patients who could move congregated at the Wendy’s on the main floor. Yuck.

Back to the point: I’m thrilled your family is safe and happy.
